Alicia Murray was born and raised in Gary, Indiana, to her supportive parents, Oscar and Audrey Bruno. She is the middle child, with an older brother, Donuel, and a younger sister, Rachel. After high school, Alicia moved to Indianapolis to attend Butler University, where she earned a BA in Public & Corporate Communications. It was during her time at Butler that she met her husband, Gene Murray.
Alicia began her professional career in the healthcare industry as a pharmaceutical sales representative. After several years, she chose to pursue her passion for culinary arts, earning an AA in Hospitality Management with a concentration in Baking and Pastry. She later became
a certified pastry culinarian through the American Culinary Federation.
With a career that spans financial services, education, and the culinary field, Alicia now works as a pastry chef and proudly owns The Pastry Palace, LLC. A woman of deep faith, she uses her many gifts to minister to others about faith and the goodness of God. Alicia and Gene are the proud parents of three daughters: Lauren, Sydney, and London.
